Our Final Walkthrough Process

We don't believe a painting project is finished simply because the last coat of paint has been applied.

Final Walkthrough

Here's what you can expect during your final walkthrough.

1

Our Crew Lead Performs a Final Quality Check

Before we walk through the project with you, our crew lead takes a final look at the completed work.

They inspect the painted surfaces and surrounding areas for things like:

  • Missed spots or areas that need additional coverage.
  • Paint drips or imperfections.
  • Uneven coverage or areas that need a touch-up.
  • Areas around trim, windows, doors, and other detailed surfaces.
  • Any items that may have been overlooked during the painting process.

If something needs additional attention, we address it before considering the project complete.

2

We Walk Through the Project With You

This gives you the chance to see the work firsthand and ask any questions you may have.

Once our crew has completed their quality check, your crew lead will walk through the finished project with you.

This gives you the chance to see the work firsthand and ask any questions you may have.

We want you to feel comfortable speaking up if there is something you would like us to look at. A fresh set of eyes can sometimes notice something our team may have missed, and we'd much rather hear about it during the walkthrough than after we've left.

We Address Any Final Touch-Ups

If you or our crew lead identify something that needs additional attention, we'll take care of it.

This could be a small paint touch-up, an area that needs additional coverage, or something related to the final cleanup and organization of the jobsite.

Our goal isn't simply to say, "We're done." Our goal is to make sure the work is actually finished to our standards.

4

We Make Sure the Jobsite Is Clean

The final walkthrough also gives us an opportunity to make sure everything around your home is back in order.

Our crew checks that:

  • Masking materials have been removed.
  • Paint chips and debris have been cleaned up.
  • Tools and equipment have been removed.
  • Downspouts and other temporarily removed items have been reinstalled.
  • Furniture and household items have been returned to their original locations.
  • The surrounding property has been left clean and organized.
5

You Get the Final Word

Your home is the reason we're there in the first place, so your experience matters to us.

The final walkthrough gives you a direct opportunity to communicate with the person who led the crew and make sure everything looks the way you expected.

We want you to finish the project feeling confident in the work, comfortable with the process, and excited about your freshly painted home.

Quality Doesn't Stop When the Painting Does

It's about the entire experience—from the first estimate to the final cleanup.

A professional painting project is about more than applying paint to a wall or siding. It's about the entire experience—from the first estimate to the final cleanup.

That's why we make the final walkthrough part of our standard process. It gives our team one last opportunity to catch the little things, gives you a chance to ask questions, and helps ensure we leave your home with the quality of work we're proud to put our name on.
